COARSE GRIT TO PREPARE FLOOR FOUNDATION
Heavy grit floor pads are recommended for the first step as part of the award-winning Concrete and Terrazzo Floor Care Program. When applied correctly this program can result in never having to do a complete restoration on concrete and terrazzo floors again, which is an extremely labour intensive and expensive process.
The first step of the Concrete and Terrazzo Floor Care Program involves stripping your floor of any residual finish, ideally for the last time ever, which can be accomplished with ES85 Scrub Free Stripper. Once all the residual finish has been stripped away, the floor is now ready for preparing the foundation. This process begins with using a 100 or 200 Grit ES-FPP (Foundation Prep Pad) on your floor scrubber in combination with ES35 Restoration Cleaner at a 1:128 dilution with water. Scrub in a straight line across the area overlapping half of the scrub path on each turn. When the area is complete, scrub the area using the same motion in the opposite direction for optimal results.
