Muriatic Acid is ideal for use in industrial water treatment, de-mineralizing boilers, descaling dish machines and hard surfaces where lime and calcium build up is a problem. The product is also an effective rust and stain remover, and great for balancing pH in pools.
When using Muriatic acid, it is important to exercise extreme caution due to its caustic and corrosive properties. It can be damaging to skin, eyes, and lungs in high concentrations. Be sure to wear personal protective equipment like gloves, and even safety glasses and respiratory mask for strong concentrations. When used safely and correctly, muriatic acid can have many uses like balancing pH in swimming pools, cleaning concrete and masonry, and descaling alkaline deposits.
