This Ontario Section 8 First Aid Kit refill meets the minimum requirements for 1-5 employees for businesses in Ontario as regulated by the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board (WSIB). The Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (WSIA) stipulates that these minimum requirements are available at all times in the charge of a trained worker who holds a valid Emergency First Aid certificate.
Regardless of the number of employees in your company, Regulation 1101 of the WSIA states that no company is exempt from providing the minimum requirements for First Aid equipment. Section 8 of the Act covers companies with 5 or fewer employees present at any given time at the place of employment. This Ontario Section 8 First Aid Kit meets all the standard conditions, as long as you are able to provide an employee with a valid first Aid certificate to manage it.
